Review by Janice Bailey

Mandy Nolan and Ellen Briggs are most definitely ‘forces of nature’. They have strong opinions about what resonates with women and they are not afraid to ‘tell it like it is.’ They connect strongly with their audience right from the beginning as they relate stories of motherhood, teenage children, husbands, sex, menopause – and everything in between. Personally, I laughed continuously from the beginning and by the end I was feeling pretty good. There’s not much more you can ask from any performer.

We laugh because the topics of menopause, raising teenage children, husbands and their virility (or lack thereof) are serious topics – presented by these two amazing women they are still obviously serious issues – but show us the ridiculousness in so much of what we believe is important. It is their ability to laugh at themselves that enables us to relate so well. This would have to be one of the best hours I have personally spent in quite a while.
