The Adelaide Comedy Gala has been a regular feature at the Adelaide Fringe for 12 years as a fundraiser for the Sammy D Foundation, a very worthy organisation whose role is to educate young people in developing skills to prevent senseless violence which can result in tragedy.

Today’s line-up was varied and incredibly entertaining. Michael Bowley was an excellent compere for the afternoon, introducing an array of comedic talent that would be hard to beat anywhere in the world. These talented and selfless people give their time and talents to raise funds for the Sammy D Foundation.

The venue was at capacity and the audience was very appreciative. Amos Gill, Tor Snyder (memorable for her crochet tampons), Fabien Clarke, Thomas Green, Joshua Warrior, Neil Davis, Rudes, Lehmo, Gordon Southern, Amy Hetherington. An amazing line-up of generous performers who were all very much appreciated by the audience.
