What are the ATG "Curtain Call" Awards?
Media

The ATG "Curtain Call" awards have become an annual event hotly anticipated by Adelaide's theatre community - both professional and amateur.

This glitzy event is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the efforts of the Adelaide theatre community, network with others in the industry and reunite with colleagues of past and present.

For the third year, the "Curtain Call" Awards Night will be held at the Adelaide Festival Centre with catering provided by the highly acclaimed Restaurant Associates.

Our MC for this year's event is Michael Chamberlin. Michael has made many television appearances most notably as co-host of 'The Mansion' on the Comedy Channel and three seasons as a cast member of the popular Australia sketch show 'skitHOUSE'. He has performed stand up on 'Rove' (Network TEN), 'Stand Up' (ABC TV), 'Stand Up! Australia' (The Comedy Channel) and best of all, made Bert laugh on 'Good Morning Australia' (Network TEN). Michael's writing highlights include being a core writer for 'skitHOUSE' but also a contributing writer for 'Rove' for the last five years until its conclusion in 2009. He also spent a season working on Network TEN's 'Before The Game'. You may also recognise Michael from his stand-up shows at both the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and Adelaide Fringe Festival.

Awards are considered for both Amateur and Professional / Semi-Professional productions and focus specifically on areas such as:
  • Entire Show / Production
  • Acting / Performances
  • Technical / Design
