What are the ATG "Curtain Call" Awards?
Media

The ATG "Curtain Call" awards have become an annual event hotly anticipated by Adelaide's theatre community - both professional and amateur.

This glitzy event is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the efforts of the Adelaide theatre community, network with others in the industry and reunite with colleagues of past and present.

For the second year, the "Curtain Call" Awards Night will be held at the Adelaide Festival Centre with catering provided by the highly acclaimed Restaurant Associates.

As this year's MC, we are proud to welcome Claire Hooper, best known for her role as a Team Captain on Network TEN's new series of "Good News Week". In addition to this, Claire has "Rove Live" appearances, regular segments on ABC TV's "The Sideshow", and several appearances on The Comedy Channel's "Stand Up! Australia" under her belt, as well as being a member of the negating team with Stephen K Amos and Greg Fleet in the 2007 Melbourne International Comedy Festival's "Great Debate" which aired on Network Ten. Claire has also written several comic plays and directed "Hamlet" in a co-production with Perth Theatre Company, making her a perfect host for this year's Awards Night.

Awards are considered for both Amateur and Professional / Semi-Professional productions and focus specifically on areas such as:
  • Entire Show / Production
  • Acting / Performances
  • Technical / Design
