The Adelaide Festival Centre is South Australia’s major performing arts organisation and facility with over 5000 theatre seats under its stewardship.

It turns over A$70m each year and employs up to 300 people to run a range of businesses including the internationally regarded Set Construction Workshops and BASS, South Australia’s major specialist entertainment ticketing agency. The Centre provides a wide range of services to the theatre and entertainment industries in the Asia-Pacific region.

It was the first multi-purpose arts centre built in Australia and more than 30 years later still maintains its status as an arts icon. With South Australia widely regarded as the creative and artistic centre of the nation, the Adelaide Festival Centre enjoys a reputation as one of the world's best locations for the arts. Through the provision of first class infrastructure, a dynamic new image and exciting, progressive programming, the Centre has emphatically placed itself as the heart of the arts. Recent refurbishment to the Festival Theatre and the public environs have reinforced its accessibility and commitment to ‘world’s best practice’ undertakings.
