Over the years the Upstagers have written, produced and directed a minimum of 4 shows per year. A glance at our current and past shows will give you an idea of the scope of our entertainments. We continue to write new shows to delight our audiences, young and old. For little kids, pantomime, with its interactive nature and universal themes, is a wonderful "first theatre" experience and the humour, slapstick antics, song and movement involved make it great fun for kids and parents alike.
For big kids, our adult shows are knockabout musical romps, naughty but nice and suited to a more mature audience that might enjoy the humour of Benny Hill, the Marx Brothers, the Goodies or Monty Python. Upstage Theatre Company is the only travelling troupe in South Australia performing pantomime and review style entertainment.
