On the Fly Improvised Theatre Company specializes in theatre workshops and training, short and long format improv theatre shows for adults and corporate organizations. For children they run a range of children’s pantomimes. On the Fly is managed by a committee with a performing arts or arts management background and holds the International Theatre License for the Maestro and Gorilla formats from (ITI) in Adelaide.

A performing arts company created in 2008 we provide the following:
  • A regular program of educational workshop’s

  • Introductory training in improvised theatre for all age groups

  • Participation in the creation of new works in the Incubator sessions

  • Regular monthly short form performance opportunities

  • Run the Theatresports and Micetro Cup in SA

  • Create and perform new material for children’s theatre

  • Are able to provide theatre performers for corporate or children’s training and for shows

Opportunities exist to take part in the crafting of new theatre pieces and to perform in regular monthly Impro Jams at the Grace Emily Hotel with successful shows developed for seasonal production. On the Fly hosts SAs Theatresports and Micetro Cup and participate in National Competitions.

Professional development opportunities are available with On the Fly with their children’s pantomimes and with corporate and training streams.
