JAMAERAW PERFORMING ARTS - The home of Raw Company and The Little Fish - Shakespeare Company, a not-for-profit multifaceted performing arts hub on the Fleurieu Peninsula supporting students of the arts as well as professional performing artists. Established 2004.
RAW COMPANY is Jamaeraw Performing Arts original professionally working group of all round performers. Raw Company members have performed a number of shows since established in 2013 with their debut “The Pirates of Penzance” being a great success showcasing a wonderful array of SA talent. Jamaeraw provides a support network for professional performers. All Raw Company productions are produced with the aid of MEAA approved contracts.
THE LITTLE FISH is now one of the professional performance arms of Jamaeraw Performing Arts. This group, a team dedicated to delivering truthful performances have produced a number of Shakespeare plays with great response. Jamaeraw Performing Arts is proud to be the Executive Producers of The Little Fish and work along side the company’s Artistic Director Russell Slater for their 2016/17 season where the insight to Shakespeare continues!
Our ACADEMY branch is based in the renowned, historical township of Willunga, we provide tuition in Acting, Singing, Dance & Music from age 4 years. Established in 2004, we have created a unique environment where students are trained in the performing arts with a focus on their individual abilities. We believe strongly in a non-competitive environment within the Academy; instead focusing on professional skills development, the benefits of team work, confidence building, and community participation.
