Balaklava Community Arts Inc. was established in 1982 when the Balaklava Music Lovers Society was ‘reinvented’ by members & friends interested in nurturing the artistic talents of all ages in the local community.
Since then, the Balaklava Community Arts group has become well known for its high quality theatrical productions. The Balaklava Courthouse Gallery and the Balaklava Eisteddfod Society were established as sub committees of Balaklava Community Arts and now the Balaklava Courthouse Gallery proudly stands as an independent body, as eventually will the Balaklava Eisteddfod Society with the help of welcome supporters.
Membership is open to everyone, at very affordable member rates. Subscribe today to receive the "Spotlight" newsletter, be involved and keep informed of what is happening in performing arts and local events in regional South Australia, & the mid north in particular. If you have an interest in either participating in or simple appreciation of singing, dancing, music, drama, or any aspect of the arts, then Balaklava Community Arts is for you.
