An ensemble of young Artists from the City of Marion explore their world in this beautiful piece about self, place and what gives us “ A Sense of Home”

True North provides an affordable, social, collaborative and safe place in which young people can express themselves and learn performance skills and practices. It aims to breakdown cultural barriers, promote self-esteem, confidence and provide high-level tuition and find a sense of belonging.
In an areas in which there are not many alternatives for young people we give youth the possibility to engage in a positive activity rather that the current vacuum in which our youth who may engage in idleness or not positive activities. A Sense of Home is the latest result of this process and methodology.

True North represented Australia at the 2016 World Festival of Children’s Theatre in Stratford Canada. It won the Graham Smith Peace Trust Award in 2014 for “A Sense of Home”, the People’s Choice Ruby Award in 2016 for “A Kid Like Me” and the Adelaide Critics Circle Independent Arts Foundation Innovation Award 2017 for “EBully”
