2016 marks the centenary of the Arab Revolt which saw the liberisation of the Arabian peninsula from Ottoman rule led by T.E Lawrence. It made Lawrence the most famous man in the world. Tales of his heroic pursuits earned the nickname of 'Lawrence of Arabia' and catapulted him into a celebrity unknown before that time and seldom seen since. In 1922 Lawrence enlisted in the RAF under the assumed name of Ross. In 1962 David Lean's iconic film transported us to the Arabian desert. Rattigan's powerful play transports us into the mind and soul of this tormented hero. Starring Will Cox as Ross - Lawrence of Arabia.
