A comedy-drama by Lee Hall funny, passionate, political and moving; based on the true story of artists from Northumberland, comprised largely of mine workers. Although most had no formal artistic training, their work became celebrated as The Ashington Group in the art world of the 1930s and 1940s.

Please note: It is Arts Theatre policy that all cast, staff (crew and FOH) and patrons are required to have received a minimum two doses of a recognised Covid 19 vaccination in order to attend the venue.

Wednesday to Saturday, 18th-28th August at 7.30 pm. Matinees both Saturdays at 2 pm.
