A Youth Group (Ages 12-18 years) has been a part of Tea Tree Players activities for many years. They have always been in the annual Pantomime, and on occasion members have been involved in senior plays, and every year during the mid term break they present their own production.

The setting for this play is the Old New Plunketville Theatre, where a fast paced televised quiz show has just arrived for a week of shows, where answering a simple question each night can result in the contestant becoming a millionaire.

But some strange happenings occur, when on the first night a confident and poised responds correctly to a challenging question, and immediately falls down dead. The next night another contestant meets the same fate, although the police say he was electrocuted by the phone when calling a friend for help, and the next one doesn't even get introduced before being stabbed in the back.

With the horror happening before everyone's eyes the director has problems with the police chief, who wants to cancel the show, while the studio boss is trying everything on the air as the ratings have never been better. Other strange event's don't help, the phone call threatening blackmail, the arrival of a rival show host, and is the stage manager and armchair detective capable of solving the crimes anyway.

The combination of these and some other wild characters, combine to make one oddball thriller, which is a riotous lampoon of quiz shows, politics and basic human nature.
