Clocking in at an hour each, these shows combine to showcase the best wit and wisdom of the Bard in the finest outdoor locations. In ‘Merchant’, Bassanio has a problem. He loves the fair Portia and would woo her, but he has no money until his ships return. Should he borrow from the predatory Antonia, and what might be the real cost? ‘Merry Wives’ introduces the audience to Sir John Falstaff: a lover, a knight, and a thorough cad. Will his plan to seduce the wealthy Mistress Ford succeed, or does Mistress Ford have plans of her own? Approx.
