post-human productions
Star Theatres

Written By: Sally Hardy
Directed By: Danii Zappia

It's not over until you're dead a Post-human Production at the Star Theatre, 14, 15 and 16 March. The play is a funny, thoughtful piece that involves sibling rivalry, some singing and is a charming reflection on the good times and bad that siblings experience.

The writer is Sally Hardy, from Crafers, who has had considerable success with her works, winning numerous awards with her writing. The actor Danii Zappia and Emily Burns are well cast. Danii (also the director) plays the outgoing talented sister and Emily is the homebody with family, and a bit jealous of her dynamic sister. However, the talented one is dying, and the jealous one is in charge of the funeral! It's quite interesting.

When the play was first presented last October Peter Burdon said in his review: "Hardy has written a delightful two-hander that is at once happy and sad, poignant and parody." This production gives those who missed it first time round a last chance to enjoy this charming and delightful work.
