Howdy Partners!

Let your mind mosey on back to another time and another place as we retell the most amazing life changing story of all! From the days of the Old West comes this Funny – Heart Warming modernised version of the Christmas story, set in the little town of Bethlehem in the Wyoming Territory 1880. In this unconventional telling of the ageless story of Jesus' birth, old Doc Trotter introduces the Angel Gabriel, a six-gun totin' masked man dressed in white, as Gabriel tells the unwed couple Mary and Joseph the good news... Mary’s gunna give birth to the Son of God!! We follow the exploits of the “Three Wise Men” Frobisham (pompous Englishman), Prescott (brash New York journalist), Professor Von Metzenbaum (German astronomer) and their housekeeper Irish Kate, as they travel through hostile territory to arrive at Bethlehem to meet the new baby King…in their long johns! They also come across Governor Tyree - cousin of the meanest outlaw in the land…it must run in the family. Arriving in Bethlehem, Mary and Joseph wind up in a rambunctious saloon run by Gracie the Saloon Ma’am and her boisterous band of saloon gals. After the unborn Son of God threatens to enter the world on the floor of Gracie's bar, she heads them towards the livery stable. The shepherds become a rowdy bunch of lonesome cowboys working their herd on the prairie and the angels become a heavenly posse, and then the whole kit and caboodle end up in the livery stable.

For Unto Y'all uses a great deal of humour, but the wonderful message of Christmas comes through loud and clear.

Directed by Sharon Raymond, this is a new extended version of the original For Unto Y’all – A Cowboy Christmas, written 20 years ago. This rewriting adds new characters, great new songs, plenty of dancing and a lot of laughs! With a strong cast, the luscious sound of Soul Factor Gospel Choir and choreography by Brady Lloyd, it all adds up to a rip roarin show! Great fun for all the family.
