HE'S EVERY WOMAN
Presented by Justin & Jamie
‘HE’S EVERY WOMAN is a real winner. I guarantee they will have you up and dancing… I can’t think of a more pleasurable way to spend the evening’ ***** Theatrepeople
‘This show would entertain anywhere in the world – Berlin, New York, London… Clausen is a natural superstar. Don’t miss out!’ The Plus Ones
Waiting in line on the morning of its release for Celine’s latest CD… ironically singing Christina’s hit song ‘Dirrrty’ in the shower… breaking up with Mariah’s version of ‘Can’t Live (If Living Is Without You)’… If you’re crazy about your GIRL songs as much as Justin and Jamie are, then this is the show for you!
Starting back when they were two little gays, these BFF’s will take you on a journey through their ‘hairbrush singing years’, re-imagining some of the iconic songs that shaped their world-view, and encouraged them both to sing out loud (and proud!)
Justin Clausen (whose powerhouse vocals were heard in the GREEN ROOM AWARD nominated cabaret 'The Lady is a Tramp' alongside Dolly Diamond, and in the Midsumma Festival shows ‘Butch Masters: Man of Destiny’, ‘The Cost of Love’ and ‘Fabtastix: Behind The Pearls’) takes on some of the best songs made famous by some of our favourite divas. While piano-man ‘Genius’ Jamie Burgess (who entertains on board P&O’s Pacific Fleet, has toured with Nikki Aitken, with Tash York in last year’s smash hit Award Winner ‘Adulting’, and with Adelaide’s very own Amity Dry in last year’s ’39 Forever’ and this year’s ‘Fortified’) plays the keys.
After wanting to work on a cabaret together for years, the stars finally aligned at last year’s Melbourne Cabaret Festival, and now as part of a national Festival Tour they’re flying in to Gluttony’s newest venue EMPIRE THEATRE for Adelaide Fringe following an award winning season in Perth and Melbourne.
So grab yourself some ‘Bolli and nibbly things’ – there’s a fully licensed bar in the park – and settle in for an hour of power ballads, party songs and Proud Mary's... and keep an eye out for guest appearances from Cher and Celine Dion!
