As a child, the writer, Jessica Clements, lived in Canberra and it was here that she suffered a brain haemorrhage. The story starts in the hospital on Lake Burley Griffin, when she hears a knocking on the door. When she opens it there stands an elephant who takes her on a journey of healing and recovery. Approx.
