Directed By: Rosie Aust & Don Oakley

Two young gentlemen living in 1890s England use the same pseudonym (Ernest) in order to simplify their lives. When they fall in love with women who believe Ernest is their real name it leads a comedy of mistaken identities.

It's high farce and witty dialogue have helped make The Importance of Being Earnest Wilde's most enduring popular plays and Lady Bracknell one of his most memorable characters.
