Marcia's good friend Charlotte has purchased an artwork - a large white canvas with barely discernible white lines - for $100,000.

Charlotte thinks it is a modern masterpiece, Marica this it's "shit".

Their mutual friend Yvette tries to be the peacemaker, but ends up getting caught in the crossfire.

Can their friendship survive?

Written in 1994 by French playwright, Yasmina Reza - this outrageous comedy was translated into English by Christopher Hampton and was staged in the West End and Broadway where it won a Tony award for best new play in 1998.
