If you have an hour, drop by the Idolize Spiegeltent for some side-splitting spontaneous fun. An audience with a list of creative song titles, a bucket of dreams, and an extremely talented cast are all that is needed for a fun evening of theatre.

Clever, quick-witted cast members Emily Taheny, Rik Brown, Gillian Cosgriff and Scott Brennan dance a little, sing up a storm, and invent several satirized musical plots. Chris Keogh is energetic and enthusiastic as Master of Ceremonies. John Thorn demonstrates great versatility, adapting to the changing plot and providing the requested musical styles.

This show has everything a musical is known for: comical segues, high-speed costume changes, tacky taffeta costumes and wigs, a variety of musical styles, flashing lights and a kick line.

When a show is improvised all technical problems, forgotten lines and prompting become a part of the script. And one audience member gets ‘More Than He Bargained For’: he became an overnight success as writer of a brand new musical – ‘EBAY’.

Unpredictable, except for the certainty of a laugh.
