Review by Brian Godfrey

This reviewer is a huge fan of anything to do with Sherlock Holmes (except the made for DVD movie where he has to battle a giant dinosaur in Victorian London – trust me, it’s a thing!) and a huge fan of the ever-returning comedy trio, Sound & Fury.

So what happens when the two are combined? It’s elementary!! Sheer comical bliss!!

Regular members of Sound & Fury, Richard and Patrick, have seen the error of their ways and now have an Aussie compatriot, Shane.

What is the plot of this little pot-boiler? Who cares! When you have Sound & Fury driving the Hansom Cab of hilarity, there is too much zaniness and too many laughs to care.

That being said, this is one of their more structured performances with more elaborate costume changes than ever.

This “Sherlock Holmes” has the lot; bad villains, bad accents, bad acting and bad haircuts. If you want mind-bending intelligence, watch Benedict Cumberbatch’s “Sherlock” – if you want mind-bending lunacy and a bloody good time, rush to see Sound & Fury’s “Sherlock Holmes”.
