A RECIPE FOR DISASTER Norwood Hotel Until 12 Mar 2017 Review by Tony Busch This aptly named show holds little that is real entertainment. The collection of eight skits and some songs has a food theme but the material is overcooked and reminiscent of a Butlins Holiday Camp. The performers have had some experience if their bios are correct and can certainly sustain a character but there is little real comedy. A series of hokey videos was shown to try to fill the interminable gaps between skits as the next set-up was undertaken. The highlight was Nigella Lawson meets Game of Thrones monologue, done well by Natasha Sholey. This may appeal to seniors looking for a dose of music hall but few others. Rating: 1 star (out of 5)
