Review by Jamie Wright

Being forced to wait outside in the cold for an extra thirty minutes as the venue is made ready isn'tcompletely unknown for a Fringe show; that such discomfort precedes a show with almost entirely noredeeming features, however, is.

Rueben Lee is up first, and his jokes elicit more groans than guffaws; his material is dated and unfunnyand he lacks presence. Danny McChrystal performs the second half of the set; he is a better performerbut still speaks far too slowly and also uses old, tired material that gets few positive responses from theaudience.

The late start meant that I had to leave before the end to get to another show; while it's thereforepossible that the quality improved significantly after I left, I'd be very, very surprised if it did.

Send this plate of 'full English' back to the kitchen; it's an underdone and unpalatable meal.
