Sequins! Skin! Feathers! Sweat and spray tans! Gyrating beauties whipped into a wonderfully choreographed frenzy! It’s all there in “Frolic and Follies”, an all-singin’-all-dancin’ production from Adelaide dance studio Precizion Dance.

It’s a simple formula: dance numbers with a backing track and some live singing along the way. Big smiles, big attitude, colourful costumes and excellent ensemble dancing from a troupe of athletic and winsome performers. The music is poppy but pedestrian (Abba, Madonna, even a touch of Tina Turner - you get the idea), and some of the live singing wavers in pitch. But there is wonderful sense of fun.

This is breezy, fun and undemanding light entertainment.
