Writer and director Simon Lancione has tried to present a thought-provoking piece of theatre. The musings, thoughts and dilemmas of a man who is paid to administer the final justice – death. Fringe shows traditionally tackle unpopular subjects, especially if they have something to say about them, but the only message to come through in this production was this man, even when he thinks it necessary, hates his job

Although the script has some merit the performance fails to engage. A small stage with one man and a stool and an unfriendly topic will have difficulties in drawing an audience in. Julian Jaensch tried hard, but on a hot night he had his work cut out and I am sorry to say although I appreciated the effort, this production failed to engage me.
