THE COMEDY MAGIC SHOW Gluttony Until 18 Mar 2012 Review by Chris Eaton Starring Alex and Luke – two energetic, professional and smartly dressed magicians – “The Comedy Magic Show” is a delight from start to finish, regardless of your age. The magic is a broad range of sleight of hand tricks and illusions that conjure applause and gasps from the audience. Both Alex and Luke occupy the stage individually for parts of the show and use the many children in the audience to assist in their magic. Their quick wits are where the humour lies, though often this is more for the parents than the kids, who remain transfixed by their work. There is plenty of the usual ‘how did they do that?’ moments in a show which is a must for kids, their parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, neighbours or just anyone looking for a good way to spend an afternoon.
