ATG TO PRESENT "EMERGING TALENT" AWARDS IN MEMORY OF SIMON SLADE
 This year the Adelaide Theatre Guide will present special, one-off awards in memory of our cherished reviewer, Simon Slade, who sadly passed away late last year.
The awards will be presented to encourage “emerging talents” within South Australia’s theatrical community to further pursue their dreams. They will be presented at the 2009 ATG Gala Dinner & “Curtain Call” Awards Night, to be held at the Adelaide Festival Centre Banquet Room on Saturday, 8 August 2009.
The recipients of these special awards will be identified and chosen by the ATG Reviewer team, in the spirit of Simon’s keen passion for both theatre and developing and mentoring new and promising individuals he encountered in every facet of his life. They will be awarded with a unique “Curtain Call” trophy and a contribution to assist them in continuing to further their skills and experience in theatre.
