What are the ATG "Curtain Call" Awards?

The ATG "Curtain Call" awards have become an annual event hotly anticipated by Adelaide's theatre community - both professional and amateur.

Mel Greig This glitzy event is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the efforts of the Adelaide theatre community, network with others in the industry and reunite with colleagues of past and present.

In 2011 we are proud to present the night in a new venue: The Observatory Function Centre, 15 Hackney Road, Hackney.

Our MC for the evening is Mel Greig, host of Mix 102.3's YOU CHOOSE, and recent contestant on The Amazing Race Australia.

More about Mel: The 15yr old runaway hit the bad tracks for a few years before picking her life up and turning it around; starting at Fresh fm at a young age as 'Bambi' helped with regaining her confidence. This country girl found herself lost in a big city and didn't know what she wanted to do; fast forward 13 years and Mel has notched up a big journey. Announcer at Fresh fm, Triple M Adelaide, SAFM, Nova 969 Sydney, 2Day fm Sydney, Star fm Coffs Harbour, Nova 919 Adelaide and now currently doing the night show YOU CHOOSE from 7pm to 10pm weeknights on Mix 102.3 fm Adelaide. Recently Mel appeared on Channel 7's first series of The Amazing Race Australia with her sister Alana Munday who she has just re-united with after putting her wild years behind her; the girls made it halfway, being eliminated episode 6. 40,000 people applied for the show. Mel talks first and thinks later, her life has often been surrounded by controversy including being locked out of Nova 919 and partying at Russell Crowe's house. Mel bought the radio school that changed her life at 16, The Australian Radio School, which she purchased with radio legend Sean Craig Murphy 12 months ago.
