Principals Emma Fernée and Susi Dunlop opened Studio Flamenco in January 2004.
Emma and Susi have studied in both Spain and Australia with teachers such as Alicia Marquez (Compañia Andaluza de Danza, Sevilla), Ramón Martínez (Sevilla), Juana Amaya (Sevilla), El Torombo (Sevilla), Javier Cruz (Sevilla), Georgia Gugliotta (Sevilla), La Truco (Madrid), Manuel Reyes (Madrid), Cristobal Reyes (Madrid), Belén Fernandez (Madrid), Soledad (Noche Flamenca, Madrid), Tomás Arroquero (Madrid), Pepa Molina (Madrid), Elvira Andrés (Ballet Nacional de España, Madrid) and Antonio Vargas ( Munich/Sydney).
Classes at Studio Flamenco are held in a mirrored dance studio.
There is ample parking alongside the building and the studio is easily accessible by public transport (Bus stop #8 on Goodwood Road).
Group classes with individualised attention are offered at a range of levels for children and adults. Private lessons are also available.
