The Playground Community Theatre Inc. offers the experience of theatre to people living in the inner western suburbs of Adelaide. The group began in 1999 and has offered diverse experiences for many people who are new to the world of drama. Workshops, readings, radio drama and similar activities have been made available to members. The support of various local and state government grants have been provided for the company allowing costs to be kept low for participants. We are currently enjoying the support of the City of Port Adelaide Enfield for the preparation of our third season with the Adelaide Fringe.
We meet at various reheasal venues. The ACCHS at Enfield the Bowden Brompton Community Centre and The Kilburn Community Centre have all housed us. We are project driven and that is a cyclical experience.
