Northern Light Theatre Company was formed in 1965, with its first performance 1966. The company usually presents three productions a year and has a membership of approximately 100. NLTC has won several best musical awards from the Messenger Press and in 2004 won the Adelaide Critics Circle Coopers Award for Excellence - Amateur Group. Most productions are performed at the Shedley Theatre, Playford Civic Centre, Elizabeth.
