Bluefruit Theatre is a professional theatre company that produces work to question conventions, fuel conversations and stay with you, long after the lights come up.
It was launched at the 2013 Adelaide Fringe with a stunning production of Agnes of God. The Adelaide Theatre Guide called it “a MUST see” and the Sunday Mail said “Bluefruit’s theatrical debut production promises big things for the future.”
Bluefruit Theatre strives to be more than just a professional theatre company; it looks for ways to engage with communities through social enterprise. It believes that the theatre should not only offer audiences great entertainment but also a unique forum within which important issues within society can be analysed and discussed, and unsung heroes can be celebrated.
